FAQ

All fka Children’s Services members can borrow from the MRC and benefit from our wide range of children’s books and resources.

fkaCS members can borrow up to 30 items at a time for a maximum of 10 weeks per loan. Extensions may be granted provided the item has not been reserved.

Some of our resource types have lower limits; please see our Borrowing Limits for further details.

Members are welcome onsite Tuesday to Friday between 9.30am and 4.30pm to browse the collection, pick up, or return loans.

Services and organisations are eligible for one free parcel delivery (up to 5kgs) per year, excluding return postage.

Members with the Outreach Program are eligible for 4 free parcel deliveries – return postage included – for the duration of the membership year.

If your items are overdue, we will send you a reminder and request that you return them at your earliest convenience.

If your items are overdue for more than 3 weeks, your borrowing privileges will be suspended until they are returned.

If you need any assistance with returning items, please contact us.

These things happen, so if an item is damaged or lost, just let us know, and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

Services may be charged a reasonable fee to cover the cost of replacing or repairing items.

The Multicultural Resource Centre is located on the ground floor, with double-door access.
