fkaCS offers free telephone support to Victorian Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services. Our experienced consultants provide practical strategies to enhance children’s active participation, guidance on fkaCS resources and packages, membership information, and referrals to other organisations. We also offer best practice recommendations and follow-up support for educators working with multilingual children and families.

Our Facilitated Workshops are designed in collaboration with you, to meet your unique needs and outcomes. Our flexible delivery options include in-service, online or a hybrid approach, at a time that suits your schedule.

Our Pedagogy and Practice Consultants are trained coaches, skilled in supporting you to enhance your leadership, pedagogical and assessment practice with a focus on enhancing equitable access and inclusion, communication, and wellbeing.

Eligible services may choose to fund fkaCS Coaching via the Department of Education School Readiness Funding

Effective early childhood curriculum development and pedagogical practice is grounded in evidence-based theories. Putting theory into practice is not always easy.

These sessions are designed to provide you with real-life examples of how theory translates to practice through in program observation, reflection and professional conversation. Sessions result in the development of action plans and resources to support ongoing continuous improvement.

fkaCS is available to support your Professional Learning Events, Parent Information Sessions, Conferences or Open Days on any aspect of Early Childhood Pedagogy and Practice. Contact us to explore how we can assist you in achieving your event outcomes.

Community Language Support Workers, who speak a shared community language, are available to attend your program. They support relational pedagogy, facilitate an environment that promotes child and family engagement, and help foster a sense of belonging and identity. For more information, please contact us.

In addition to Early Childhood Education and Care services, Community Language Support Workers can assist Victorian Playgroup Facilitators in engaging with families in a shared language, enhancing effective communication and participation. fkaCS uses a multimodal approach to professional learning that may include a mixture of onsite and online support using a range of delivery modes and resources. Our bespoke solutions are designed in collaboration with each kindergarten service or group of services to develop a program of support best suited to meet your outcomes. fkaCS is proud to be part of the School Readiness Funding Menu of Evidence-Informed Programs and Support (SRF Menu). Eligible Victorian kindergartens can use their School Readiness Funding (SRF) to access fkaCS curated packages and resources.
