End-to-End Career Support Program

The End-to-End Career Supports program, funded by the Victorian Department of Education, is designed for degree-qualified early childhood teachers. As part of a consortium, fkaCS offers tailored coaching, networking opportunities, and ongoing support for professional growth.

Early Childhood Language Program

fka CS manages the Quality Support component of the Victorian Department of Education Early Childhood Language Program. The initiative delivers four-year-old kindergarten programs in a language other than English.

Kindergarten Quality Improvement Program

fkaCS is a recognised provider for the Victorian Kindergarten Quality Improvement Program (KQIP), supporting kindergarten providers in engaging in continuous improvement practices to meet the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).

The training was exceptionally informative and greatly enhanced our understanding of the Reflective Practice Toolkit. It provided valuable insights into using the toolkit effectively and applying it in daily practices. Group discussions were especially helpful, allowing real-time application of the toolkit’s concepts.

The practical strategies for overcoming barriers to team meetings and guiding idea sharing were invaluable. We can easily incorporate these approaches to promote productive team meetings.

Semann & Slattery, with over 25 years of experience in education and community sectors, collaborates with fkaCS to co-lead projects such as the Quality Kindergarten Improvement Program, Early Childhood Language Program, and End to End Career Supports Program. The Victorian Aboriginal Education Association (VAEAI) amplifies Koorie voices in education and decision-making. As a member of the Early Childhood Language Program Quality Steering Committee, VAEAI fosters cultural identity and increases community awareness of Koorie culture and aspirations.

Dr Anne Kennedy

Anne is a highly respected leader in early childhood education with extensive experience as a teacher and academic. As a Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a member of the Victorian Children’s Council, Anne also serves on the boards of The Front Project and AERO. Anne is a member of the Early Childhood Language Program Steering Committee and the End-to-End Career Support consortium, providing pedagogical support to our coaches and facilitators.

Heather Barnes OAM is an experienced pedagogical leader who has extensive experience supporting early childhood educational and care services. Heather is a member of the consortium delivering the End-to-End Career Support Program and provides pedagogical support to our coaches and facilitators.
