The President and Members of the Board of Management of fka Children’s Services Inc. invite you to participate in our 114th Annual General Meeting, featuring the launch of our new website and eLearning Modules: Engaging with Multilingual Families about Kindergarten.

The Victorian Department of Education will join us to discuss Best Start, Best Life progress, learnings, priorities and next steps.

fkaCS Annual General Meeting

The ordinary business of the Annual General Meeting gives members the opportunity to find out about fka Children’s Services operations and finances and to vote on any resolutions proposed. Members will be asked to vote to:

• Accept the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
• Accept the Annual Report
• Accept the Financial Statements of the Association
• Elect the members of the Board
• Confirm the annual subscription and joining fee

Voting by proxy

fkaCS recognises that not all members are able to be physically present and cast their vote. In this instance, members may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. Your proxy can be a fellow member of the Association, or you may wish to nominate the President, Secretary or other Board Member to vote on your behalf.

The fka Children’s Services Incorporated Rules stipulates we must declare as near to one third of the Board positions vacant and hold elections for those positions each year. This year we have up to 4 vacancies.
