About our Collection
The primary goal of the FKA Resource Collection is to provide resources to support members in the provision of culturally respectful service delivery and curriculum design, in line with the Education and Care National Quality Framework.
The Resource Centre serves a membership with a broad range of knowledge and qualifications spanning education and care services across the early and middle years. The collection includes professional and children's resources thereby providing multiple entry points for the educator or service to access and engage with the collection. Resources include:
Delivery and Pick-up
Education and Care Services and Other Organisation Members can receive resource packs (up to 5kg) delivered free of charge twice a year.
Alternatively, completed orders can be picked up from FKA Children's Services. Just let us know if you prefer pick-up when you submit your order and we'll notify you via phone or email once your order is ready for pick-up.
Returns are accepted via drop-off or mail to: FKA Children's Services, 42 Dight St, Collingwood VIC 3066
Visit between 9:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Call 03 9428 4471 to let us know you’re planning to visit so we can ensure our library assistant is available to support you (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Browse and order online anytime.

fkaCS can be accessed by a short walk from various public transport options including the Smith St tram (Route #86), trains from either Collingwood or Victoria Park train stations and various bus routes along Johnston St and Hoddle St.
Two guest parking spaces are available in front of the fkaCS office. Parking in Dight St is permit parking only, however, all day metered parking is available in nearby Wellington St. Free (time-limited) parking is also available in surrounding streets near Collingwood College (Campbell St) outside of school
Access for people with wheelchairs or mobility aides
The Multicultural Resource Centre is located on the ground floor and can be accessed through a single standard door (nb. rough gravel may limit access through this door) or the front roller door (safe access from the street via concrete path/drive). A wheelchair accessible toilet is located on the ground floor. Feel free to call us to discuss your access needs.
