We’re looking forward to opening the new space to fkaCS members and the wider ECEC community. To mark the occasion we'll be launching a new multi-language resource currently in development. This will take place in the new year so keep an eye out for the invite!
We’re also pleased to report our 107th AGM held last week was a success, with fkaCS board member, Professor Mindy Blaise, presenting a fascinating talk touching on children’s development, agency and the cultural politics of childhood. Another highlight was the awarding of Life Membership to Rosemary Waite. Keep an eye out for November issue of fkaCS Newsletter – there will be more on Mindy’s talk and some photos from the event.
Multicultural Resource Centre (library) – temporary closure period extended:
The works needed to make the library space functional are taking a little longer than hoped, however we’re making steady (and safe) progress. If all goes to plan the library will be operational by the end of the month, if not earlier. We’ll alert you via email, Facebook and of course, this news blog, as soon as the library is up and running.
In the meanwhile, you can continue to return library items via mail and/or drop-in to:
