In this edition, we invite you to think about incorporating family values into the early childhood education and care space even when these values may challenge your own pedagogy and practice. We endeavour to offer some support around reflective practice and welcome you to reach out to our team for guidance when needed.

We take great pleasure in highlighting HART (Helping Achieve Reconciliation Together) award recipient Dr Sue Atkinson Lopez as an acknowledgement of her work driving systemic change in early childhood education for Possum Skin Pedagogy.

We continue to have a look back at fka Children’s Services archives to give us an insight into the amazing women that shaped early childhood education and care in Victoria as we know it today. In this edition we celebrate the life and work of renowned change maker Dr Rosemary Milne.
