Supporting school-age children on the autism spectrum: Translated resources

Positive Partnerships is a national project, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training through the Helping Children with Autism package. Delivered by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), Positive Partnerships aims to improve the educational outcomes of school-aged students on the autism spectrum. 

Multicultural Engagement Strategy
Together with Diversewerks, Positive Partnerships developed a Multicultural Engagement Strategy in 2016 with the aim of further extending outreach of Positive Partnerships’ programs and support to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. Read more here… 

Translated resources developed with and for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, in support of school-age children on the autism spectrum
A number of resources have been developed for families of CALD backgrounds, and those that are supporting them. There are a range of resources that have been translated to assist with conversations and shared planning to support a child with diverse learning needs and their family. The resources could be useful for families, schools or any services that are supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds.
