Islam and Muslims in Australia
The presentation will provide you with a better understanding of Islam and Muslims in Australia and how to strengthen our work with families from diverse backgrounds. At the end of the seminar, participants can expect to have improved understanding of:
- The five pillars of Islam
- Islamic values
- Life events in Muslim families
- Women and Islam
- Islamic festivals and customs
- Strategies for working with Muslim families
